Beautiful from the outside, but never got the chance to see the inside due to the opening times. Don't take the bus to the church walk across the bridge, you get some fantastic views.

It's a striking construction and well lit in the dark days of winter. However while we paid to go inside there's little point in that, all the drama is in the exterior.

We attend a midnight concert at this Cathedral, of Noweigan music. Wonderful performers, under candlelights doing music and songs of Norway. The Cathedral acoustics and the beautiful church are additional plus. We miss the "northern lights" just to go to the concert. Well worth it. This was part of of Hurtgruten cruise.

We walked to this cathedral on our way back from the cable car . Having seen its blue illuminations from our hotel it was a must to visit. Open to tourists from 3 pm it was dark and glowing brightly from the outside , inside however it is very minimalist. Certainly worth a visit when passing if only to say... More

Such a beautiful iconic church. The decor was nice. As you can see, it's a newly built church and the view from there was nice

The arcitect of this church really did it. When the sun hits the glasspainting, it's truely an religious experience. But, one thing that is a bit sad, after I've visited several churches in other parts of Europe and USA, is the entrance fee. My opinion is that it's way to stiff. To pay 100 NOK (10 USD) to see the... More

You have not been in Tromsø if you havn't visit the arctic cathedral. This is one of the first modern churches of the world. Visit it to learn the way it's bild and it's history. Make great pictures of the cathedral, the famous Tromsø bridge and the center of the island as the cathedral is at Tromdalen, the fast land.
