We crossed the Oslo Fjord on a beautiful day so were able to fully enjoy the lovely scenery. The mediaeval Akershus Castle was clearly visible as we departed from central Oslo & looked magnificent, dominating the harbour area. There were also lots of other boats...More

A nice city to visit. Went to the City Hall where the Nobel Peace Prizes are presented. Also went to the Peace Centre where there are exhibits of past prize winners and why they were awarded.

I did a two hour tour covered off by the Oslo pass. The staff on board were friendly and helpful down to providing a blanket. The Captain was right, you may fall asleep out in the harbour, and the reason for that is two fold....More

The Oslo fjord doesn't have the rugged snow capped peaks and waterfalls like the fjords near Flam or Stavanger, but it is still a beautiful scene. There are many small islands with summer homes. Worth a look if you are going to be in Oslo,...More

This is a beautiful stretch of water. We got up early to enjoy the cruise into Oslo. The scenery from both sides of our ship was magnificent. If the opportunity presents itself, don't miss it!

This is a hop on hop off boat, looking a bit like a sailing ship... 215NOK per person. It has several stops around the harbour, including the museums and the opera house... the boats are not very frequent so it is difficult to get good...More

Hi - I'm going this weekend, where can I buy the tickets for the Fjord cruise? Would you recommend buying online first or buying there? Do you have any other things that you recommend as 100% to do there? Thanks! Shannon

I think it is best to buy online just in case there are a lot of people wanting to go in the same cruise. Have you done the museums? Very interesting and boarding at the same place in Oslo. I hope it won't be too cold for... More
