If someone would ask me where Acker brygga starts and ends, I would not be able to say. It is, however, a famous and beautiful part of Oslo right on the seafront with lot's of restaurants and posh private housing.

We walked through this very modern area. You can find some nice shops, restaurants and statues like the reindeer, some monster looking thing, Snow White, anchor and more. Nice views of the castle.

Avoiding the big cities will save you a little fortune as long as you keep away beverages containing alcohol. All in all Norway is more expensive than GB, but well worth a visit.
