It looks beautiful, but prices for lunch and anything else are really expensive. Be prepared for it!!

Loved to coming to this area. Located on the edge of the Oslo Fjord. Many restaurants and shops to choose from.

This is a unique and interesting journey down a "pier". Sights and sounds, yachts, cruise ships, museums, fjords-all here & then more. You can't visit this beautiful country without this attraction-destination on your agenda. Everything from food trucks to 5 star restaurants, apartments, shopping are awaiting. Simply saying, don't miss.

There are so many good restaurants, cafes and places to explore here, right on the waterfront. This is one of the must see places when you are walking around central Oslo.

The district Aker Brygge, where the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art is located, was the location for an infamous gang-related shoutout in August 2006, in broad daylight, with several hundred bystanders including children and tourists in the line of fire. Fortunately, only two people were wounded and nobody was killed in the incident. Formerly the ship yard of Akers... More

Great modern architecture, sea views, outdoor sculptures, shops, restaurants and more. Galleri Fineart is a large, welcoming space hosting works by renowned artists. We were fortunate to see an exhibition (pre-opening) by Norwegian artist Vebjorn Sand. While visiting Aker Brygge, be sure to spend some time at the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art. Stunning building and excellent exhibitions.

Good for a relaxing walk along the sea front, shopping, follow by a meal at one of the many restaurants there and cozy patio cafes with sea view.

The place is nice, it can get a bit overcrowded at times, but that is part of the fun. very nice view, lots of eateries to choose from if you want to grab a bite. And plenty of places to sit and relax and soak it all in. Very nice place.

We visited on a Monday evening in mid-March. It was a cold, rainy day, which helped keep the crowds to a minimum. It's a nice place to walk, providing picturesque views of the water, the fortress, and the surrounding areas. It's a revitalized wharf area with many cafes, restaurants, and shops. We found a great place for dinner and enjoyed... More

I went around 4pm on a Sunday. Maybe this was the worst time, as it was all completely rammed out. People were queuing out of the door of Starbucks for goodness sakes. I'm sure it's nicer when quiet.
