Visited on a cold snowy day. The statues are really weird but certainly gave us cause for lively conversation and lots of photo opportunities. Would like to visit again in the summer.

Its a park. It has statues. It also has the pre-requisite busloads of 'red group' & green group'. Is it worth it... Go very early in the morning or late at night, if it's open. Otherwise, forget it unless you the artist.....

One of the best attractions in Oslo. A huge park full of scaptures made by Vigeland. It is the biggest collection of sculptures made by one person. The entrance is free and you can enjoy a walk around the park.

We got to the park after dark and there were very few people around but the lighting was good enough to enjoy the sculptures. It was interesting to see all the different emotions in each sculpture.

We had a guide to interpret this park and its sculptures. Very interesting side trip and very enjoyable. We got great photos, and had fun taking them. Worth reading up on the artist before you go.

Hi The public transportation in Oslo is indeed very efficient - check the webpage for ruter.no. You can also upload to your mobile the Ruter app which finds you the routes based on your location once you are in Oslo
