The Gimle estate was built around 1800. Collections of paintings, period furniture, china etc. reflect a family home through five generations. Now a cultural museum of historic interest, surrounded by an Englishstyle landscape manor house park. Combined tickets for the museum facilities at Gimle.

Nice place for a walk. It's a botanic garden and an old farm, perfect for bringing kids. During December they arrange Christmas markets, and in the summer and fall time, there's usually some kind og arrangements too.

I would really like to reccomend this beatiful place wich is absolutely free of charge. During summer time they even serve a snack to bite and coffe. Lovely for a family with kids as well for couples!
