You can drive here easily, and it is worth it for the views across the town. Cafes did not appear to be open in the mornings.

Great place to visit on the top of the hill with extensive views in all directions. Free to enter the grounds and the castle is also free to enter with a most interesting pictorial history about the tower. Great for the whole family.

I walked up the hill to see the fortress and the views. I got to see a bonus exhibit of unique and almost creepy statues. Head up there for a picnic, or just hang out for a bit. There is parking available. If you are...More

It's a hike to get up there but it was well worth it. It was beautiful and quiet. We went mid morning so it was quiet and peaceful.
