My favourite place to stroll around Ålesund. This is just a part of Sunnmøre Museum where there are less people. It is peaceful and scenic!

If you want to get an idea of the "Viking" culture, then you must visit this museum complex. Plan on a large amount of time here ... it is worth it. Our bus tour could have used about another two hours here to do it...More

Lots to see in the inside museum and the outside buildings also. Wish we had paid more attention to the great collection of boats but we were trying to get to the next stop. Lots of walking on uneven paths so be aware of that....More
