From the day you arrive, you are among friends. Our Dive Masters give great briefings focusing on safety, and they know their fish and love their world. We offer PADI training packages and Island and Shark Safaris. We dive all the great dive sites around the North including cleaning stations, deep dives, wrecks and aquarium-like reef sites. After a shower back at the dive center, we sit around the table enjoying Mauritian snacks, beer or juice and plan the next dive adventure. Why don't you join us?

As experienced divers we travel the world diving and rarely return to the same place
We rarely return to the same place twice however we have now been to Mauritius twice and are booked for a third year this coming December - why? Because it’s so good!!
We researched it and researched it some more before booking it, the best diving is in the North West of the island, clearer water, more marine life (it’s the Indian Ocean so expect to see just about anything).
As ‘working’ UK PADI Dive Masters we selected who we dived with very carefully and opted to dive with Ocean Spirit Scuba Diving Mauritius based in Pereybere a PADI 5* centre, with mature sensible guides and instructors, a boat suited to diving (many are just ‘speed boats’ and are overcrowded) good equipment (although we take are own) and have safety at their forefront.
A lady named Jill Holloway is the owner and an avid diver herself, she frequently dives with the customers (which in itself maintains the high standards of her staff) and her knowledge of the island is immense.
I recommend speaking with Jill directly to discuss what type of diving you wish to do and what level of experience/certification you have which will ensure the diving caters to your expectations - OS are excellent at tailoring your dives to your ability

Ocean Spirit is an excellent dive center. I visited in early January 2024 and dove 5 days, 10 dives, mostly with the experienced guides Roger and Bernard who could spot the smallest and most camouflaged creatures. The skipper Jovany was capable and the dive boat comfortable. Jill and Kritika made reservations and logistics a breeze. The dive shop has an atmosphere of camaraderie that I enjoyed as a single diver. I highly recommend diving in Mauritius and doing it with Ocean Spirit.

First time scuba diver and got open water certified at ocean spirit. I can’t recommend it highly enough. I created confusion and they went out of their way to ensure everyone was on the same page and made everything such an easy process for me.
My man Bobby. Bobby is the greatest instructor. He was so patient with me when I was nervous and always made me feel like nothing could go wrong with him around. I wish I could bring him with me and take him everywhere I dive. Thank you so much to the entire team, it couldn’t have been a better experience.

This was our second visit to Ocean Spirit, but we were welcomed back just like we were regulars. All of the team are amazing, lovely, and highly competent. Jill and Roger are fabulous owners and divers themselves. The sites we were taken to were stunning and so much to see. We are from the UK and experienced PADI trained divemasters. The team practice safe diving at all times and because of this and the fact that Pereybere is an amazing place to stay with the sea and all of its fabulous dives on the doorstep, Ocean Spirit is in the ideal location for us to return a third time in December 2024.
My advice is to give the team a call if you want to learn to dive or if you are a qualified diver, you won't get better.
We actually met a lady and her son on the plane coming out and recommended Ocean Spirit and they loved it so much that the lady came back to do a further course and some more dives the following year. What better review do you need?

The dive center itself is one of the biggest on the Island. You can come with a large group of people. The facility's are great so much space to wash and hang your equipment. Definitely recommend for larger groups but also great for individuals. The dive sited are amazing and I have seen things I have never encountered. The dive staff are very knowledgeable and point out all the cool things you might have missed

Safe and well organised. We booked “two dives a day” as already PADI qualified. Great at explaining what was to happen, checking our gear set up, mindful of safety while also being friendly. We had a newly qualified diver with us and they were calm and patient while the novice diver got to grips with a few things. Thanks

I recently dived with Ocean Spirit Dive Centre and was thoroughly impressed. The operation is professional and well-organized. Equipment is in great condition, and the dive masters are highly trained and knowledgeable. The boat is expertly skippered, and the centre is clean and welcoming. For a safe and enjoyable dive, Ocean Spirit Dive Centre is top-notch.

After not diving for 2.5 years, I was a little anxious to dive again. However, everyone at Ocean Spirit was patient, safe, kind and fun! I completed 9 dives with them and each experience was great! The instructors are professional and the equipment is clean. Thanks to Bobby, Nando, Yo & Jovani :)! See you all soon

I have been diving with ocean spirit for three years. I did my training with them. They have the best instructors and always there for clients putting safety first. My husband has been diving for about 30 years and also been with ocean spirit for the past 3 years. We both agree that you can not ask for a better diving school/diving club to go dive with.

Great diving experience. I just walked in out of curiosity from the beach (Pereybere is a beautiful beach, don't miss it out) and had a chat with the staff. I immediately decided to dive with them and had two days of really fun diving including wreck-dives. The crew is nice and friendly and I had the best ever divebuddies.

I want to know can we take 3 dives a day in Mauritius ? I saw other dive center website, only 2 dives in the morning a day.

Rs 200 pour l'assurance local valide pour 2 mois.
