The food stalls next to the market, open until 12 noon, is an excellent place for breakfast. Lots and lots of stalls selling a wide variety of hawker food. Very clean, very tasty. With something for everyone, our whole family loved having breakfast here.

Market on Tuesday nights. It has a lot of local fare, as well as the usual imported electronic junk. Food as everywhere in Penang good and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a look, especially if your in the are?

Weekly pasar malam and a source of reasonably cheap food. Well worth the visit, parking is difficult and best park along the main road.

This is a nice wet market off the tourist track. On one side of the market you will find lots of stalls with fresh vegetables, fruit, fish and meat. Stores with non-perishable goods line one wall, and there is a pork butcher hidden away out...More

One of the best wet markets in Penang. Fresh produce. Lots of choices. Prices are reasonable though not the cheapest in Penang, but you get a great variety of stuff fresh.

Yes, there is a chicken pie stand that also sells delicious egg tarts! You would do well to arrive very early to order them, the stall is usually completely sold out of everything by 9am.
