Nice

I had a look around this beach today and it's quite nice. Had to walk through someone's yard to get to it.

Lonely on the beach
Mar 2019 • Solo
What a sleepy town this is. I guess most tourists stop at the park, but I cycled around town without seeing a living soul... boats were resting until evening, I assume. An eery sensation!

Cosy fishing village
Dec 2018 • Friends
The Teluk Bahang Beach is home to many fishermen in Penang. The place is still very much laid back today compare to the busy Georgetown, offering old rustic relax feel.

Nearby is the Penang National Park, the smallest National Park in the world! The Pantai Kerachut adinkey Beach of the Park are famous for their clear water and white sandy beaches.

Our Favourite Beach in The Area
Feb 2019 • Solo
This is our favourite beach of the area. It is a little bit of a hike to get to but well worth it.

It has a place to camp (will definitely be coming back in the future to camp), toilet blocks, a little mosque and several other little buildings.

To get here you take a turn off 3/4 of the way to Kerachut Beach. (it is well posted) From there the path get a little steep and would be better suited for those with am average + fitness level. At the time we did the trail the little bridges crossing the rivers just before the beach where broken and in need of repair. Still crossable but very dodgy.

The beach itself if awesome. I came here on a Tuesday and I saw no one at all. There was a good amount of monkeys running around and a nice chilled out vibe.

There was a lot of jellyfish though so unfortunately no swimming.

You will need to bring food and drinks with you for this beach as it is quite far fro the main national park gate.

It is a lovely hike and a good way to spend the day out the in jungle. (Again I would advise you do need a fair fitness level to do this hike)

Overall it is a good beach to come to hang out and have a good relaxing day away from the crowds.

One day at Teluk Bahang
Nov 2018 • Family
1. We drove from our hotel at Tanjung Bunga & it take us about 40min slow drive to reach Teluk Bahang Beach. It almost right at the end of the roads.
2. A lot of shop & it a local fisherman village. They organise islands hoping your at reasonable fee.
3. It nice to slow walk at the esplanade & enjoy our afternoon walk.
4. A lot of small shop selling local dish at reasonable price. The good news, most of them able to converse in English.

Teluk Bahang Beach

This is a smaller beach just before Batu Ferringhi as you head towards it from Georgetown.

Not a lot of people when we there, the water did look a little murky.

best collection experience

many choice menu include Crabs, shells, fish and any local seafood available here and great staff.I have seen much better beaches. Really don't know why people think it is so marvellous but still ok. Not a place that I would like to go and spend some time at. It is not even that big a place to feel that you can enjoy your time there.

Good Beach but less view or beach like feeling
Jun 2017 • Couples
We visited this beach during June 2017. BEach is good, view is ok but beach is small compared to traditional beach. But must visit one time if you are visiting Penang.
