Visited a little while ago and found it to be very informative. The walk through can be a little tight at times but passable for most.

I took the children here and we really enjoyed the history and the actual mines themselves. Not your average mine!

Really interesting and informative walk down into the mine itself, hard hats are a must (provided) and good footwear.

Visited here with my son (10) this is a self guided tour of the mines, we found it really good, very narrow corridors underground. Well lit up and very informative fact boards in the way round. Well stocked shop, full of little gifts and trinkets....More

A great conducted tour into the mine with more recent workings then Roman using picks, hammers and chisels. Then ancient workings visited where stone hammers were used.
