Hubby and I thought this mini museum was very nostalgic. It was all on one level, going one way around and it was quite dark but this added to the atmosphere. There were various mannequins dressed in 1940's clothes/uniforms. We particularly liked the grocery shop...More

We took Brenda's Mum to the Museum. We had a great time looking at all the things we grew up playing with, and using in the house, a nice cosy place to visit.

A wonderful little museum but packed full of all things WWII. It was well laid out and fascinating to see. As a WWII buff and historian, I loved it.

Well worth a visit. Lots of wartime memories and not too much written material. Torches were provided as the ambient lighting was deliberately dimmed to preserve the artefacts.

A personal collection of WW2 memorabilia in an atmospheric presentation. Full of 'I had one off those' moments. Half an hour well spent!

Lovely little museum tucked away in a side street. It will only take you 30-40 minutes to go round but gives you a taste of the home front during WW2. There are some nice exhibits and it’s worth a visit.

Hi, we don't have parking at the museum I'm afraid. However most blue-badge holders park on the double yellow lines outside. Best wishes Adrian
