Where to watch the Grey Seals

Really enjoyable walk around the Little Orme which was surprisingly flat. At Angel Bay we sat and watched 11 Grey Seals pulled out on the beach which pleased my better half no end.

Nice place right at the end to go fishing and a walk to see the local sea lion in the water. Lots of paths to follow and relatively clean apart from some people leaving the dog poo bags on the ground or throwing them towards the sea.

Other reviews say things like 'not to be missed' etc and I whole heartily agree with them. It's the last day of our holiday and we are a bit walked out but I'm so glad we did this one. Nesting cormorants & fulmars, bird song filling the air, spectacular views and of course the seals. Five I. The beach and... More

We walked from Llandudno to Penryn Bay & came across a disabled access entrance to The Little Orme. What a find! Absolutely stunning views & scenery on par with The (big) Orme in Llandudno. There is a tarmac path all along for wheelchair users or a natural uneven path, whatever your preference. We tried to follow the Wales Coast Path... More

We stayed at the Premier Inn 200 yards down the road, where there is also a Brewers Fayre (with free parking). This is a North Wales Wildlife trust reserve called Rhiwledyn. On passing through the entrance gate take the right-hand path and go up a steep path which gets a bit better after the initial part. Carry on to the... More

The Little Orme is far less accessible than the Great Orme but is an equally imposing headland and is just as imposing. We visited on a sunny day but the area was almost deserted in huge contrast to the more touristy headland at the other end of the promenade, definitely worth exploring.

Fabulous walk up onto the little Orme brings you to Angel Bay where you can watch the seals basking in the sun. An absolute delight.

I visited this site when I did a walk to Rhos on Sea from Llandudno. The view from tjhe top is spectacular. On part of it is the North Coast path. Thbere is a lack of direction signs for thsi and it is quite easy to lose your way along it.
