By reading previous Tripadvisor contributions it's clear that the Great Orme means many things to many people. For me the five & a half mile circular route, mainly along Marine Drive, brings together virtually all of what is best in rural, coastal and hill running and jogging. The scenery is breath-taking and the combination of the winding road & the... More

My wife and i walked up and down the Great Orme on new years eve with our dog.We had a fantastic walk, with fabulous views, topped off with a visit to the cafe at the summit,it was very windy at the top so we were very grateful that the cafe and pub were dog friendly.

If you're going to visit Llandudno, get the tram up the Great Orme. The views are fabulous. If it's Winter - drive up as it's worth the wind just for the view

You can't travel to north Wales without I trip up the orme. Fantastic views , it's just one of the places you have to visit. Mention Llandudno to anyone and the first thing they will ask you is ... did you go up the great orme. ?.

A couple talked us into going on a trip round the Great Orme on a 1964 coach which was great fun. The driver told us the history of Llandudno and the Great Orme. We saw the goats and stopped half way to take some photos. It was very interesting.

been up here before, the views are stunning, should be cheaper on tram and cable cars. though I don't like heights, you couldn't find a nicer place to see the whole of Llandudno from, though also love the west shore

It can be s good climb and is very steep in places but there are great walks round the Orme. On top the views of North Wales are magnificent. For those less able there is also a tramway to take you to the top.

My boyfriend and I walked up and around the Orme (approx 2-3hours), it has the most wonderful views and very relaxing walk. There are some great gems to come across as you walk around and I couldn't recommend it more. The initial part of the walk is challenging (mod-hard) however once on top is fairly easy.
