I walk through this arch every day to work as a short-cut avoiding the hassle-and-bustle of the town centre streets, didn't know the history of it at all until now. Nothing too significant but I like walking through arches as opposed to just walking down roads.

This is just an archway in the narrow streets behind the Town Hall. It is quite pretty but otherwise I cannot say very much about it. Apparently, it was the home of the novelist and poet, Jean Ingelow (1820-97).
