Wonderful park for a quiet stroll

This park is a few minutes from where we live and it's fantastic for a morning stroll. They've recently improved the facilities and they've done a great job.

This park is great for if you have small children (up to 10) for the water sprinkles and now they have built toilets near the park entrance which is a bonus

My children enjoy the splash water and I enjoying walking in the woods with my dog. Sitting on the benches enjoying the views and listening to the children play. The stables cafe is lovely and quite reasonable in price could do with being cheaper though.

Beautiful park but you feel very intimidated by the large quantity of drug users and dealers in the myrtle road entrance area ! Very disappointed as I have lived nearby for 12 years seen loads of work done there! Please get it sorted ,

Easy enough to find, but less easy to find a parking space. Great to mooch round - lots of space for the kids to run in and a decent enough play area. We had a lovely relaxing time here watching the world go by.

Nothing special, just your average park. I thought that it was a nice place to get some fresh air, however there seemed to be a bit of a litter problem. A good place to walk your pets. However if you're looking for a large and largely litter free place to walk, I would suggest Christchurch park which is not much... More

Occasionally walk through the park to go in to town and visit when events are on. Has had recent upgrades due to funding in recent years and all have been sympathetic and in keeping with the park. It retains it slightly wilder feel with good wildlife habitats but the new play area and renovations of the stable blocks, orangery and... More
