Good food but slow service

Went for half price mondays - what an amazing deal, certainly worth the money! Only downside was slow service, no one seemed to know who was meant to be serving us! But when we... read more

Had a brilliant night until one of the bouncers stopped me and my boyfriend from kissing ... In this day and age I find this unacceptable!!!!! This place clearly does not accept 'gays' in their club!!!

Good place to go for casual drinks such and most of the bartenders are great. One guys who thinks he knows everything when ordering a spirit mixer, if you ask for more coke he gets offended and starts a big debate. I think it is up to the person drinking it.

We were in Ipswich for a couple of days and went into town for something to eat. Ipswich it seems is dead on a Sunday night. The Revolution had two other tables with customers and that was it. They don't sell real beer so I had an Amstell. As there were few customers, the service was very speedy indeed supplied... More

I've been here a few times with a friend, trays of shots has to be done with a pint, nice surroundings, friendly lively bar staff. Friendly door staff which is always nice to see. Great for sitting outside with a beer and socialise with mates. Will be back.

Got one of our group's orders wrong, and instead of apologising, asked ' are you sure you didn't order the rib burger?' Yep, easy to order a rib burger instead of a full rack of ribs apparently. Also, food took a long while to come out, and we could see it sitting on the service hot plate thing for over... More

My wife & I dropped in to see Revolution, which is on the ground floor of a very imposing building. The long, cleanly organized bar, ... eclectic seating and comfy booths were immediately welcoming. A young gentleman named Ewan made us feel even more welcome with a big smile & light banter. The burgers were unique in that they were... More

Visited here with friends. It was very quiet yet took a long time to be served. We ordered Mojitos and were disappointed to find that they were really badly made. Took them back where upon we were told that they'd run out of lime and limes!! Perhaps we could have been told this when we ordered them !! To be... More

Was overwhelmed by this venue. I had booked for my Daughters Hen do. Staff were superb from booking to the end of the evening. We had the Cocktail Masterclass after our very nice dinner there. Cocktails were flowing nicely. The Bartenders were good at their job in the masterclass and really knew how to get us partying. We went upstairs... More
