We went to Upton Country Park for the first time simply for a walk in the woods. Car parking is not expensive (at time of writing £1 for under 4 hours). There's good loo facilities at the car-park. There are good paths around the site...More

Our last visit was in October 2016, this time we found that you have to buy a ticket for parking. We went to the cafe for tea and as it was such a lovely day we were able to sit out in the courtyard. It...More

Delicious tea for four - beautifully presented in well - tended gardens. Lovely woodland walks down to the shore line of Poole Harbour with numerous land and coastal birdlife to see. Binoculars would be recommended.

Yes in the woods, have to be careful as lots of cyclists around on the harbour side board walks though. Lovely walled garden, sheltered for day time use for all and a courtyard with cafe.
