We took the children aged 10,9,8 and 7 they loved it - as there is a lot of interaction for the children. We went last weekend adults were £2.50 and kids under 16 were free so we had a very cheap exciting day out. Would revisit but probably not for a year as once you have seen it, then you... More

Went to the Christmas market as er indoors likes that kind of thing. We have always wanted to go to Magna but put off by the high prices. £2.50 per adult and kids free today seemed like a good deal...especially since usual price is £13ish Looks a awesome place outside but once inside it soon loses its attraction...understand its cold....its... I held off from going to Magna in the past having worked in Rotherham and attended courses there as well listening to radio Sheffield slate it on a number of occasions. We arrived a little late, but admission costs enable you to visit all year so didn't mind. A number of good exhibits and hands on activities for kids, but... More

Since this visitor attraction first opened, I have always intended to visit it; especially since I live local, and this visitor attaching is part sponsored by Rotherham Borough Council. Anyway I took my grand child there, she, and I were seriously underwhelmed by the whole disappointing experience. Which is a very gloomy one, to say the least. Our only highlight... More

Brilliant! We did the triple whammy which includes zip wire, abseiling and power fan. The staff are so friendly, professional and enthusiastic. You can tell they love what they do. We came a long way from London to here (3hrs) and felt it was worth the day trip.

Magna is an amazing experience for young people to learn about Sheffield's place in the world of making! Also great for the rest of the family to relive some 'olden times' and past experiences.

entry fee gives you 12 months entry, this includes a very large outside play area. I went with my grandchildren aged 8 and 13. both of them enjoyed it although I felt it was aimed more for the younger one. when we left I asked them if they would like to go again and it was a resounding yes. the... We got there late at 12.35. But we had seen enough to be happy when we left at 3.05. It's a very dark place in a lot of the building when moving from each attraction. We took our two teenage boys who both enjoyed it even though afew of the rooms are aimed at the younger kids really. We didn't... More

What an amazing place. It's huge inside and easy to get lost. The history of the steel mill is everywhere and videos, hands on exhibits, demonstrations and special effects make it very entertaining and educational. Great for adults and children alike. The payment gives you a 12 month pass so no need to rush round, just spend as much time... More

If we knew that it would be that dark and cold inside, we wouldn't have taken our 6 year old son for his birthday... we stayed about 35 minutes then left. We expected to be indoors and we were all very cold and my son was scared. It was warmer outside (and that's at the end of October!) so we... More
