Visited in the Easter hols, extremely disappointed. Lots of the exhibits were out of order, no sign of ‘The Big Melt’ and the place was freezing cold. The only member of staff we saw whilst there was the one on the till at the entrance....More

Don’t bother going unless you enjoy looking at broken attractions. The number of interactive features that don’t work was ridiculous! Considering it costs £40 for a family ticket, I would expect an attempt to mend these. The place is freezing, seriously freezing! Nothing has been...More

We visited Magna yesterday to celebrate my grandsons 9 th birthday, to say the place was cold is an understatement. My husband spent the whole time in the Cafe area to try and keep warm. The signage is extremely poor and lots of the interactive...More

Wanted to come here for a while. It’s a good day out. Lots of local history and learning about steel. The different elements are great. 2 boys year 4 loved it. Wrap up though as it’s cool inside. Good the vouchers allow entry for a...More

Magna seems to attract a lot of negativity, but for our family it provided an entertaining and interesting half day. For a start the building is enormous (10000 people worked here) so there is a sense of spectacle just in the cavernous spaces, most of...More

If I had taken any notice of previous reviews I would never have taken the family to Magna. We would have missed a brilliant day out. We went to Magna Mayhem it was great and the place was warm. Yes it is colder in the...More

We may have enjoyed this more if it wasn’t so cold! There’s no heating inside so I’d definitely recommend hats, coats and gloves in chillier weather. With a young child, it would have been nice if staff warned us how cold it was so we...More

COLD, we were warned but still should have dressed warmer. The biggest disappointment is that some exhibits didn’t work ( which seems to be a common theme based on previous comments) expensive entrance charges for not much to see or do - certainly wouldn’t recommend...More
