Plenty too see indoors .Flight simulators are good for all ages very realistic. Great to get access to the Vulcan cockpit too . Nice selection of aircraft in good positions to photograph too.

A small but very interesting museum with the outstanding highlight being the visit to the Vulcan cockpit to see the nuclear trigger that would have ended civilization as we know it! That or the long range bombing of the Falklands in one of these machines....More

Gordon where on the main road will you be starting from? If your getting dropped off at the airport junction follow the brown signs which will take you towards Irthington turn left at the next brown sign and keep the runway... More

Dogs are allowed outside but must be on a lead, guide dogs are allowed inside the museum.
