This is a superb entertainment for smaller children or the young at heart! Not a very long trip but it does go round the back of the stage of the open-air theatre, through a little tunnel and eventually comes out near the sea and stops...More

Short trip, not a very scenic route but canny for small children. Different types of carriages so you can swap and do a different one each way. Steam engine only runs at weekends but Diesel engine still good.

There is not a bus service that runs from near the Grand Hotel. The best option would be to get a taxi and ask them to bring you up to the ticket office at Peasholm Station. A return ticket would be £3.90
