Green heaven in the centre of Huddersfield lovely fr long walks or ice cream in the local cafe. It was redone few years ago and I can recommend it to families, children, runners, couples, friends. Especially good on summer days with child friendly big pond and hill above it where you can sunbathe or have picnic

Love walking through this Victorian park and enjoying afternoon tea in the glasshouse. The planting is superb and the wide, spacious pathways mean that there is room for everyone.

For anyone who enjoys running, Greenhead Park has a fantastic parkrun every Saturday morning. I ran yesterday and there were around 700 runners. The atmosphere is brilliant and the course if scenic. Happy running.

It is a park for 'everyone' with areas for children, walks with various settings, features such as lake, gardens, bandstand, war memorial and two cafes, catering for various tastes, although the Conservatory is my favourite. It hosts many events throughout the year and still... More
