this is a small museum with loads of local information they have rooms with furniture and models dressed in clothes from last century.and a small video room with scenes of old dunoon and how it looks now take a camera.

A very small museum but packed with information on the history of Dunoon and it's famous children. The lady overseeing the museum was very friendly and made everyone feel welcome.

So worth a trip here it's Truely beautiful educational it's a fantastic castle, children loved it also, 7,8,11,15, 3 adults staff are lovely and welcoming, gardens also are fantastic, had a bun and drinks in the cafe area, definitely worth a visit think it was...More

The museum is small but actually perfectly sized. The main man is an extremely pleasant person who has built up an interesting repertoire and collection. The video of old postcards was interesting and 12 mins long although the accompanying music was a bit monotonous! Car...More

Very interesting. Lady that runs it very knowledgeable a good couple of hours on rainy day learning about museum and Dunoon.

The small museum has a large range of topics at a high level. If you have a spare 30mins whilst in Dunoon it's worth a walk about to support the charity, but I wouldn't go out your way to visit. Nice to get a general...More

What a cracking little museum. Packed full of local history. Sorry I can't remember the gentleman name who works there. He made our visit exceptional!! I really hope more local businesses will support the work done.

Good range fair price and prompt friendly service. I use the place fairly frequently and whilst there is no local alternative I would recommend

What a wee gem this place is... Run on a tight budget but what a lot you get for a small admission charge.. Something for everyone and the local history section is absolutely wonderful. Top mark to all the staff who keep this little gem...More
