We arrived on 12th September and were warmly received with bacon rolls and coffee. The course is one of the most picturesque we have played and the condition was a credit to the Club and the green staff. After the game we had soup and sandwiches which were excellent. Thanks to all at Dunkeld and Birnam Golf Club for making... More

Despite the recent poor weather I managed to squeeze a round in at D&B and glad that I did. Really enjoyed the course, interesting layout and enough of a challenge for most golfers. In my opinion the "older" side of the course outshines the new extension that was suffering a bit under the deluge of rain. All in all a... More

My group of ten visited this Golf club on Saturday 17th September and were well received and pleased with the day. Following the round of golf, the group expanded by another 5/6 people for refreshments and there was no disappointment. When ordered, all food was freshly cooked and sumptuous and the chef and staff were very nice and helpful. My... More

Many thanks Colin for your positive review which I will pass on to the staff. We believe that the course and the clubhouse go and hand in hand, and your review tells us that "just a golf course" is not enough. It's as you say "the 19th hole" which is also important for the visitor. Glad we got it right... More

We booked to play on 24th September. Easy online booking with no money taken until the day you play! Unfortunately is was raining heavily on the day but we were offered various playing options (7 holes, 10 holes or 18) by the kind lady behind the bar. All options at a different price with no money taken until we have... More

To the D&B mainly because by brother-in-law lives in Birnham, but partly because I felt it would be a course that my wife would would like on her first golf holiday. The place really is a revelation. As far as the golf is concerned: - They have a wide selection of prices for visitors ranging from £10 for 7 holes... More

Firstly, thank you for the compliment on the coffee, I also make a mean cup of tea!! I am really glad you enjoyed your visit, and hope you had a safe journey home. We are a small club, with a small amount of full time staff and we pride ourselves in a warm, friendly welcome. I shall pass on your... More

Played the Golf Course with 9 friends as part of our annual golf outing. The course was in excellent condition, greens well maintained and very challenging. You need to be fit to play the course, very hilly and you hardly ever got a flat lie. Loads of blind shots. All 10 of us were tried after the round due to... More

Scenery -stunning. I can't believe that some people are so lucky that they have access to this club , daily. I am green (no pun intended). Hospitality - so welcoming. We joined as social members at a cost of £5 which enabled us to eat and drink at the club house. Reasonably priced, home made food. We had a hot... More

BeverleySue many thanks for your kind and positive review. We are a small club with a small number of employees which, I believe make the club a warm and friendly club, which is often overlooked by our "better known neighbours". We have recently made steps to make the course more acceptable and accessible to non-playing guests, and your review informs... More

Very interesting and challenging course, many different holes. Lovely clubhouse with friendly staff. The food is great too. I have played all over Scotland and this is one of my favourite courses

I visited with a group of 16 and we had a good day here. The course was in good condition and though short provides plenty of challenges. Severely sloping fairways, raised greens, high teeing positions all make an interesting round. The food, whilst fairly basic was excellently cooked and all the staff were very welcoming.

Great course. Not the longest or most challenging but that was maybe because I had my best round of golf of the year on this course. I have been back a couple of times now and seriously considering joining the club. The course and greens have always been in great condition and the green keepers very friendly. Worth checking out.
