Nice walk

Even on a rainy day it is a nice area to walk around. I can just imagine in good weather it must be fantastic. If in Buxton it is a must

Walked into Buxton and through these beautiful gardens which are kept immaculately. A lovely small waterfall in the middle. Some lovely playgrounds for all ages of children. You could just imagine the Victorians taking a turn around this park. Well worth a visit.

A real delight to spend time in this beautiful, well maintained park. Plenty of wildlife live in the park and if you're lucky you can feed the squirrels or ducks and geese by hand. The flower and shrub beds are well maintained with a large variety of plants. Popular for picnics in good weather or a visit to the cafe... More

Beautiful park in the centre of Buxton. Very scenic for walking with a little playground and outdoor gym. There is a swimming pool and leisure centre in the park as well.

My other half and I managed to kill a good hour or so here. There's a small indoor section which smells exquisite and has a beautiful fish pond, outdoors the gardens are extensive and there is lots of wildlife to enjoy. Lovely!

Lovely gardens with lakes & ducks, little train on tracks gives rides for the children and a cafe & shop on site. Really nice for a half hour stroll.

Stayed just across from the gardens in a B&B and although it was still winter, we had snow on one of the days, the gardens and the lake were really lovely and well cared for. A very pleasant place to "watch the world" go by in the summer. There is also a children's play area and even though it was... More
