There is so much here to enjoy including nature trails, play areas for children and places to sit and enjoy the outside. The cafe and welcome centre are clean and welcoming, picnic tables are available i the open air or under cover.

My wife and I took a stroll around the park up to the waterfront - has changed that much since we were last there - relaxing, serene place.

Nice place to spend a few hours on a lovely day. Nice visitors centre with free parking, Lovely clean cafe upstairs.Had a leisurely walk with a friend along the sculpture trail and the WWII trail. Lots for kids to do. Would highly recommend

I have heard rumours that the idea has been mooted at the Council for part of Wat Tyler to be turned over for housing. How true or not this is remains to be seen. I think it wise to keep an eye open for public notices just... More
