Great garden with a wonderful veg garden. Not enormous but very pleasant to walk around for a couple of hours. Tea rooms in former stables. Need care underfoot as some slabs a bit uneven.Very helpful staff.

Enjoyed an afternoon stroll around the gardens, which were well kept. The plants made a great display. There is a tearoom situated in a courtyard which currently also houses a small exhibition. Gardens are worth a visit for those particularly green fingered

A lovely National Trust property. Just a couple of rooms to see inside the manor at the moment, unless they open up more of the house at other times. But the garden, although relatively small, is beautiful and very well kept. The ponds and shelter...More

Interesting building and history. Wonderful gardens, good to stroll round at the end of the summer. Seeing the vegetable garden gave me a few ideas for next year. As with all NT properties well informed and knowledgeable staff.

I liked Tintinhull because it's on a human scale. There's about 6 garden "rooms" to walk through, if you count the kitchen garden. They could make more of the "pond garden" however, and this could be a wonderful "paradise garden" in the Moorish fashion with...More

Small garden but well maintained. Some of the paths would be difficult for some people. Small cafe and plant sales.

Tintinhull was a lovely find on a long cross-country trip - small, peaceful, and lovingly cared-for clearly, both by its creators and now by the National Trust. There are separate garden areas or ‘rooms’ divided by hedges, each with different themes (the Pool garden with...More

This NT garden was designed by plantswoman Phyllis Reiss. It is calm and relaxing and a lovely place to spend time. It is a beautiful pace if you are able bodied. However, it is difficult terrain for a wheelchair as the paths are all of...More

Hi Sarah, Dogs are welcome in the courtyard where the small shop and tearoom are but they aren't allowed into the gardens. If you do go you will understand why, but the garden 'rooms' wouldn't be appropriate for visitors... More
