This used to be a fantastic traditional Old Pub but, has been spoiled by the current landlady who has no real licensee experience, social skills, etc. Don't expect to hear any of your jukebox selection as the landlady would have loaded her own personal selections...More

Just popped in for a quick drink. A real local pub full of characters. We were made very welcome. Just had a quick drink.

We went in around 10:00 one Friday night and there were a few locals in who weren't exactly friendly and the lights went out about 10:50 which signalled no more beer. It would have been nice if the girl behind the bar would have called...More

Lovely locals pub with a welcoming landlord. Full of local colour and the drink prices were reasonable. Nice friendly atmosphere. It has BT Sports for those that need their fix on large screen tvs.
