We came to visit Worthing and the beach. The beach seemed to be stones with very little sand. A very long promenade favoured by walkers, runners and cyclists. The whole sea front looked run down. Parking could be a problem in the spring/summer months

Nice when it’s warm, not so much when cold. Good long wide promenade as long as you can avoid cyclists and runners. Occasional events and fair.

If you're accustomed to sandy beaches, these pebble-strewn places can take some getting used to - but there's still great beauty to behold. Relax and enjoy!

It is simply so boring, in Summer you sit and roast on hot dusty stones and in Winter you freeze. The tide goes out quite a long way and there is simply nothing there. If you walk towards Worthing you eventually reach the Pavilion Theatre...More

Great beaches both sides of the pier ideal for hot summer days with a picnic with a swim and sun bathing.

Yet again another excellent Fireworks display made all the more special by being able to sit on the beach to watch it. We might not have golden sandy beaches but we have excellent quality swimming water, a pier and an excellent selection of shops, cafes...More

It's a lovely place, although best to wear something on your feet, there is sand at low tide, the Pier is great with lots of tiny fish shoaling along the legs. You can see the Wind Turbines in the distance, but it really doesn't detract...More

Train service goes straight to Worthing out of London Victoria, when Southern are running :) Plenty of buses go to Worthing.
