There is a lot of confusion with these reviews. Highdown Gardens are situated at the top of the long road just before the car park. These gardens are mostly sheltered from the winds, especially by the beautiful fish ponds. There are unfortunately no dogs allowed...More

What a great place to visit, lovely gardens sheltered from the weather. Lots of history of when the garden was created and how it was done and a friendly coffee shop for a relaxing drink.

Situated on the top of the South Downs these well kept Gardens are ideal for a relaxing stroll amongst the many features. Views across Worthing are great on a clear day and the Cafe serves good coffee and excellent food.

This is a lovely friendly cafe and really friendly where four legged friends are concerned. However it does get busy and isn’t very large. But the food is very good.

With parking very close I find this a lovely place for a little wander even with family who are not all very mobile. Worth visiting in every season for a different experience - lovely to have this so close to Worthing

Nice day out providing it’s good weather as there’s no real undercover spot. Free parking up the hill which is great! Gardens are beautiful which lots of Hess areas the have a picnic. Would definitely recommend!
