The gardens are sited to the north of Worthing on the Southdowns and are partly in an old chalk quarry. Entry is free and one can wander at will.

Came here to roll down the slopes, tiptoe over the stepping stones and play hide and seek in the gardens when I was a child. Now bring my son here to do the same whenever we visit the grandparents. perfect family fun, and free!

Excellent Sussex Cream Tea, huge Scones and very Dog friendly. We always visit here after walking the Dogs on Highdown Hill, ample parking and good home made fayre.

There are some slopes but, as I remember, there aren't any steps. If I hadn't seen the previous answer I would have said a definite YES but I don't push a wheelchair.
