Been into the Museum on a number of occasions with my children and its so nice. Particularly like the actually park itself. Such a peaceful area, lots of places to walk and not bump into someone else. Dogs there are always friendly too

Worth a visit if you are at a lose end. Friendly staff and overpriced food and drink. We went to a WW2 event what was poor. There was also a antiques show on but they was charging to have a look around the stalls

An elegant house which is well-maintained. As a child I remember talking to the curator who was restoring the Japan ware. It is a much more child-friendly place these days. Well worth a visit .

All of the venue is adjacent to the car park which has "blue-badge" spaces. The coffee shop and grounds are on one level. The House-Museum has wide stair cases and a lift to the first floor (the only elevated floor).
