On the whole, the farm itself is not very remarkable, but there is just enough ground for a good healthy stroll through nearby woodland and back to the cafe for breakfast. The cafe itself is very basic but is clean, cheerful and serves very nice, if not basic food. Breakfast is always good and well presented. The staff are friendly... More

The black and white farm buildings provide a wonderful setting on the outskirts of the town.Although there were only a few farm animals my 8 year old enjoyed spending a couple of hours visiting them and walking in the grounds. It was a frosty winter afternoon so we enjoyed a warming mug of hot chocolate after our walk. The cafe... More

We went here on a visit because we have passed it several times but never been in.There really isn't much to see a few ducks,cockerel,swans/geese and a pig.A herb garden that had barely anything in there and a few old pieces of machinery.Maybe they have more on in the summer but it was hardly worth the visit.

We visited this farm on the off chance of being in the area and googling local farms. It's free to park and free to enter. It's a small farm don't get me wrong but it's just the right size to pass a hour. Staff were friendly. Our two year old loved the animals and the animals looked well looked after.... More

There is not an awful lot at this farm but it gets you out of the house. I expect there's a bit more of an atmosphere on a warm, sunny day. Nice little tea room with a good selection of food and drink.

A small farm with lots of woodland around for strolls. The cafe is situated on the farm, staff are pleasant and have a nice selection of cakes and snacks, staff on the farm are very approachable too and will answer any questions you have on the animals there, as I'm keeping chickens the man there gave me lots of tips... Northycote Farm is one of those little gems that doesn't attract much attention, but is worth a closer look. The farm itself is relatively small with an array of ducks, chickens and geese for the most part. There are also some pigs and sheep and in the further fields beyond the main area, you will find cows. Beyond the farm... More

Wonderful grounds and good for keen walkers with the country park. However the farm itself is very basic and there isn't much to look at. The cafe is nice. Think this place is best visited over weekends when there are planned activities.
