About
Parr Hall is a historic concert hall and listed building with 1,000 seats. A long standing feature of Warrington’s cultural scene since, it opened in 1895 and still plays host to some of the region's biggest shows. The venue has welcomed the likes of John Bishop, The Stone Roses, Billy Ocean, Jools Holland and Peter Kay, to name just a few. Pyramid opened in 2002, with support from Arts Council England and the National Lottery, as an arts centre focusing on smaller performances and community events. It offers a range of spaces to hire for events, weddings and conferences. The venues are run by Culture Warrington, which is a charitable trust that was established in May 2012 to also manage Warrington Museum & Art Gallery and cultural events across the town including Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival.

Parr joined by Pyramid in 2002
Parr Hall was named for a Town Crier who built it for the city. It has a striking façade of brick in various tones and opened in the mid 1890s. Down the intervening decades it has hosted many famous performances, including such luminaries as the Rolling Stones in 1963. Numerous prominent comedians have graced its stage. In the early 2000s it was joined by the adjacent former Courthouse that was transformed into the Pyramid Arts Centre.

What a little gem of a venue
Attended a show there recently and having not been to the Parr Hall for about 30 years, I was really impressed! From the friendly staff on the door doing security checks to the bar staff and ushers - everyone with a big smile and only too happy to help. I was practically shown to my seat and helped with my drink. Staff happy to have a chat and we’re all really cheery. The venue it’s self is great. Not too big, clean, comfiest seats in any theatre I’ve been in for a while. Great little bar in the foyer (there is a circle bar, but that wasn’t open on this occasion). Well done Parr Hall! A great local asset.

    The Comedy Store at Pyramid
I love attending the monthly visits from the Comedy Store at the Pyramid. Good central location and we can walk or drive and park at the Town Hall carpark. All the staff are helpful and friendly, it easy to collect tickets there once venue opens. The bar struggles to manage only one till in service, causing long queues and slow service. There were only a few toilets available in short interval - noone wants to get up mid set at a Comedy night! Lastly I found the chairs very cramped and uncomfortable.

Excellent venue for a night of rock
Went to the venue to see Massive Wagons rock the night away. The venue was perfectly adequate to cater for the fans there to have a good time. There was plenty pf parking nearby and Warrington town centre is inly a very short walk from Parr Hall. No complaints here at all.

Needs a good lick of paint but always enjoy my experience here
Views are great wherever you're sat although not so much if drunken women are having a free for all treating it like their personal dance floor. A lick of paint wouldn't go amiss nor would a smile from the security. There's really no need for one of them to be on his phone or wearing his woolly hat indoors

    See above.
Good night had watching the 'Drifters' just a shame that so many people had phones flying all over the place! Attendants didn't ask them to stop even though there were signs up stating no phone/photography! People can do what they please but when your restricted & can't see the stage because of phones in your face!!!! Requires more restrictions asap.

John Bishop - Back at it tour
Visited for John Bishop 7th July, never been but not a bad venue. Bar on site is reasonably priced and staff were pleasant. Felt a bit cramped think chairs could be spaced a bit and it was hot inside, would have helped if staff had kept the hall doors open which John requested himself but it seem to fall on death ears. Only downside was the amount of people that cannot sit still for 90 minutes, up, down, up etc blimey next time buy the show on DVD and watch it at home Overall though not bad and would return.

Great little Venue, seats in the circle are very uncomfortable and have next to no leg room at all. Had to sit my knees pressed into the seat in front.
Staff were very abrupt and not friendly at all.
