Only small but excellent museum. £2.00 entry if you're interested in Maritime history or if the weather isn't too good. Some superb models of lifeboats and fishing boats as well as wartime Lowestoft.

An excellent museum and so cheap I told the volunteers they really should consider putting the prices up. Fantastic displays giving the history of Lowestoft as a busy port. Lots of things to see and all very interesting. It is a treasure trove and keeps going round every corner , It is a very well looked after, Well Done everyone!!

The building looks very small from the outside but once inside it's a real treasure for those that want to know more about the history of the fishing fleet there. Loads of models and other things to see. Probably needs more than one visit to take it all in . Highly recommended.

Situated in Nicholas Everett Park Oulton Broad is this lovely old museum. It is run by volunteers with brilliant knowledge of the local area and of the exhibits, which go back to pre Viking times!!!! From what I remember it was free entry and donations appreciated, but that may be different now. You could make this a full day out... More

On entering told the price was £2. I thought I had gone back in time! The museum is all on one floor and is not what... More

Small museum but well laid out and dense with exhibits: model boats, lots of photographs, some interesting maps and lots of equipment. The gentleman who showed us round was very well informed and a pleasure to listen to.

This was a most interesting visit. You cannot help but marvel at the outstanding courage of the sailors based in Lowestoft in past times. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
