A very pleasant afternoon visit to the house and gardens (combined ticket). The gardens are spacious with interesting layouts of areas of various styles - the maze is good - you are 'warned' that it is 1/4 of a mile of walking in to the centre and the same out - assuming no back-tracking of course ! The gardens contain... More

Charming gardens and the guided tour was most informative ( you cannot self guide). Do check website as opening times vary. Limited choice in coffee/snack rooms but quite acceptable.

I visited the gardens only (not inside the Hall building). This is a thoroughly delightful and interesting place to visit. There are many wonderful specimen trees, the maze is fun to experience, it is great to see Victorian glasshouses, and the winter garden building. Good, clean toilet facilities (a plus point if you are getting on in years) and easy... More

This place is a real treasure. It is gorgeous, the house and gardens are amazing, the views are wonderful. We had a lovely time seeing English historic houses at their best.

Great day, had a look round the house and gardens. The maze was fun and had good weather. Didn't have food there as was busy but brought a picnic.

Nice gardens and a lovely spontaneous Hall but the price of entry is extortionate! Especially when don't see much of the place. If you like flowers and gardens then you will love Somerleytons garden. The maze is good too can get lost so that can be fun when you take the children. This is best to do in the warm... More

This was our second visit here it's absolutely beautiful with gorgeous gardens and a maze. I got very stressed though as I have a great fear of wasps and it was swarming with them.

I've been here several times over the years with friends and family. It's a lovely relaxing place to visit. The hall is beautiful with it's splendour inside and the gardens are very well looked after. The Maze is fantastic, it's very cleverly done so you will get lost every time, which adds to the fun. The shop has some lovely... More
