I was really looking forward to showing my 6 year old step daughter the joys of Eureka and ranted on about it's the only children's museum and it's in Halifax, it's so special etc etc. When we got there it was heaving, children were screaming pushing and shoving each other, the exhibits were mostly broken and the ones that weren't... I don't know what we were expecting but it was absolutely fantastic. There was so much for children of all ages. Our little girl is two but can see us going back for lots more visits as she gets older. Plenty to do, the cafe was lovely, not too busy and very clean. Really recommend!

We visited Eureka midweek hoping for a quieter experience. On arrival it did take a while to get in, not a long queue but only 1 member of staff to attend to you. Once our turn it was very quick to enter as we pre booked our tickets. My experience wasn't as great as I had hoped, possibly just a... More

Currently sat in the town square watching my 8 year old and 3 year old entertain each other chasing after the capsule whizzing round the gas tubes! We've got an annual pass and get a few trips in per year so good value for money. Only downside is the cafe is a bit poor so we always bring a picnic.... More

Went with family (kids 2, 4 & 6). Very pricey at £13 per adult or child over 3. Been before and some of the stuff now getting a bit worn. But it should pass 2-3 hrs or so. Kids thought it was great.

My first visit here with my children and we loved it. I bought our tickets online and got a free annual pass included so we can visit as many times as we want in the next year. I've had this offer from other attractions but haven't gone back as felt there was nothing new, however we will be going back... More

I've taken my 2 year old here 5 times in the space of 10 months because his mum works in Halifax and sometimes she had to stay over when I was due to pick her up. So we spent anywhere from 45 minutes to nearly 2 hours in there on separate occasions . We bought the annual pass and I... More

Been twice now, kids love it, can spend a good 5 hours here, plus you get an annual ticket once you purchase your tickets. If you come often then yes it will probably seem tired, but for all the kids venues I've visited, this is one of the best! Would suggest kids aged 3-7 would enjoy the most
