I ordered a large jack daniels with diet coke and a large vodka with diet coke. this came to £18. I asked if I could order interval drinks , it was 19.10 pm at this point. no was the reply we... I'd previously been to the Baltic building further along The Gateshead Quayside but this was our first visit to the stage which is a unique silver armadillo shaped building that dominates its immediate area. We were really impressed at the size and facilities inside. We were there for a talk in by Jodi Picault who's latest best selling book was... More

Just returned from another visit to the Sage for the Brass in Concert weekend. This is a great venue. Spacious, good seating, bars and cafes in the foyer are good and plenty of Loos too! I cant really fault the Sage as it all works really well. If you get the chance you must go.

My husband and I like to visit the Sage whenever there is something on that interests us. We have three bookings already for next year. Been disappointed this year as other commitments and holidays have have clashed with your programme. The last show we saw was Buddy Holly Reborn which we enjoyed. Last April we saw the wonderful Hollies and... More

We'd been to the Sage a couple of times before. As a music venue, it's difficult to beat. I have had dozens of great nights in the City Hall over the water in Newcastle. I feared for the City Hall when the Sage opened. However, these two great venues seem to be successfully operating in tandem. The wooden structure of... More

Gabriel was excellent, the only thing to spoil this fabulous evening was the people behind us who talked all way through . Why go to a concert to talk ????

We were so excited by our first visit to the sage building with our daughter going to sing on the main stage. The staff are first class from the security officer who helped us with the ticket machine that was broken, to the lovely lady on the ticket desk, the young lady standing on the door who took us to... What a great place to visit. We were early so had a glass of wine on the ground floor then went into Sage 1 for our venue. Sound in there is brilliant and the place itself is easily accessible and comfortable seats. Parking was fine as there is a large car park close by.
