Not much more to say about it except that it an extremely efficient service at a reasonable price that is so convenient and in fact logical when your driving the pretty coast road.

this is by far the best way to get to Fowey form polpero. Dont take the back roads though as they are narrow. Its £4.80 per car. When you get to fowey park in the ferry carpark and walk into town, its flat walking compared...More

I lived in Cornwall during my informative years and although had been on King Harry and Torpoint, had never been on this ferry until now. Really quick efficient service. Not a chain ferry. One added bonus for me, was the pleasant drive on the other...More

Shuttles across the estuary between Fowey & Bodinnick. Can accommodate approx 15 cars + foot passengers. Runs a continuous service from dawn to dusk. Bodinnick is typical Cornish village with narrow roads so queing for the ferry is probably a little stressful in high season.

A really handy service, we travelled as foot passengers in very wintery conditions. Well managed and run service.

Lovely way to enter Fowey from the North part of the town. Cost of £4.40 worth it for the view of the harbour as you cross.

We ended up here by accident and without realising ended up in the queue foe the ferry. We had no way of turning round or getting out of it. I thought it was over priced for the length of crossing and the staff didn't seem...More

£4.80 to cross (Cash Only) couldn't be easier to board and drive off the other side, I've driven round the lanes above many times which are not very wide and not much fun when traffic is coming the other way.

Our Sat Nav took us the ferry route between St Mawes & Polperro as a quick route! The road off the A390 via par is a long road which takes you down to the ferry crossing. On arrival we could see the foot ferry coming...More

We used the car ferry at the end of our walk from Polruan to Fowey. It is a car ferry and seems to be very efficient. It is less comfortable than the Polruan ferry for foot passengers.

The ferry only takes around 2 minutes to make the crossing, it will then load up again and make the return journey, so usually there is usually no more than a ten minute wait at either side. At mid-day you will have no... More

About 2 hours. Personally I think the Bodinnick to Polruan direction better - lovely views.
