Had a great time here with a group of friends, was given huge amount of help and advice by Ali Who was very about both the ingredients and method of cooking. We did the game session which which the entire group enjoyed, thoughThe skills section with the pheasant at the end was I opening and possibly not for the squeamish... More

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband who has recently attended three courses at this cookery school. It is located in a beautiful setting. The day was extremely well organised with professional, friendly and helpful staff which made the whole experience enjoyable. So much so he is going to book further courses. The course was informative and... More

Did the restaurant style cookery course with Stephanie Moon yesterday and all four of us had a great day. There was plenty to keep us on our toes throughout and, regardless of your skills/knowledge, Stephanie manages to throw in loads of tips and advice to send you away with an enhanced perspective. The menu was well planned, encompassed a variety of new... More

Attended the "Use your loaf" cooking course. Made a granary loaf, Devonshire Split Buns with jam and cream, (I cheated and bought clotted cream on the way home rather than standard stuff), Focaccia bread and Stromboli - a bit like a loaf with parma ham, cheese, garlic etc all melted inside it. Rang my daughter who had some friends round,... More

Gem of a place in a peaceful setting on the outskirts of Driffield. Excellent room, very clean and comfortable. Lovely polite welcome and a well earned cup of tea and home made biscuits on arrival! Would recommend.

Just attended the Bake it Easy course, a lovely day. Only 2 other attendees, so we had individual attention from Sally our tutor. Sally was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of tips throughout the day. The staff were like kitchen fairies, removing and washing up everything as it was used. Lunch was delicious, celery soup and sourdough bread, followed... More

My husband and I did the Italian cookery day at Wolds Cookery School and had a really enjoyable day there. The kitchen and facilities are first class and Ali who led the course was knowledgeable and personable. We came away with some delicious food and some handy new skills but above all we'd spent an interesting and fun day together.... More

I thought the day was really good value for money. My daughter had a super time and came home with some delicious food. She learnt some new skills and also gained more confidence. Will definitely book again.

Really pleased your daughter enjoyed the class and look forward to seeing her again. Look out for a gingerbread house making class in December which I am sure she will love! More
