Had an amazing day learning different techniques and skills. We made Choux pastry Swans filled with creme patissier, fresh fruit and cream, a poached pears Frangipani tart and a chocolate and raspberry device with genoese sponge, chocolate mousse and covered with a ganache. We were fortunate to be instructed by French patisserie chef, Thierry Condette. Would certainly recommend the school.... More

Enjoy baking but my bread making is a disaster . My husband bought this visit as a Christmas present and I had a fantastic time. The whole set up is very professional and all the staff from Sali our tutor to the ladies doing our washing up were friendly and helpful. We made a good variety of breads to practice... More

My mum bought my daughter and her cousins a junior cookery course for beginners for Christmas. The course leader and team were extremely welcoming and immediately put the children at ease. The facilities were excellent and very clean and the small class size was perfect. They made meatballs with a tomato based sauce, garlic bread, chocolate forked biscuits and raspberry... More

I booked this day for me and my 18 year old son as he is a vegan and I have given up meat. We were welcomed into the cosy lounge for coffee and cake before we began. The tutor was Katie who couldn't have been friendlier and more approachable. It was a small class and the group were shown how... More

I guess quite a few attendees will have been given this day as a gift, as in my case, and so you arrive wondering how it's going to go. If you're reading this in that mind, you needn't fear anything. I went on the "Easy Indian course" and it was just a sheer delight from the moment I opened the... More

Spent an excellent day at the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School preparing a number of Indian recipes. The support provided by the tutor was exceptional and the support team ensured that we concentrated on the cooking and not the clearing and washing up! The school has fantastic facilities and the friendly welcome soon put us at ease. All the food taken... More

I booked my daughter and a friend (both aged 9) into an afternoon at this school. They loved it. The supervision provided was superb. They baked a variety of things including biscuits and a Nutella Xmas tree. We will be back!

Had a great time here with a group of friends, was given huge amount of help and advice by Ali Who was very about both the ingredients and method of cooking. We did the game session which which the entire group enjoyed, thoughThe skills section with the pheasant at the end was I opening and possibly not for the squeamish... More
