Don't miss this wonderful building, so full of history and interest. The Font is very unusual - ask how the cover is removed and be surprised! We spent hours looking around and would return.

Beautiful place to visit. So much to see inside and steeped in history. When we visited there was a very helpful lady who told us some of the history. And you need to go hunt for the mice (wooden carvings on the furniture and panels. Great fun.

Luckily we were able to park right outside so I could use the disabled ramp. A minster that is well worth a visit. Very peaceful with lots of interesting carvings in wood as well as stone. Beautiful stained glass windows.

Amazing surprise that awaits anyone who visits the area. Full of history and stunning to look at. Beverley is a wonderful place to visit with a stunning array of shops and historic buildings (seek them out as they are dotted everywhere).

A stunning place to visit with helpful people who took time to explain the surroundings. Park carefully within , not on, the white lines as the parking attendants have little else to do!

Coupled with Nellies, The Westwood and the fish and chips, this is the reason to go east of York/north of Hull to Beverley. Alec Clifton-Taylor loved this place, and you should too. Monster minster that beats Southwell ad Ripon hands down, almost a French feel of linking to history and nothing-to-prove provincial confidence, with an airy sense of space and... More
