Played in the ABF Charity match with some customers who were very impressed with the whole set up , organisation of the day , the excellent condition of the course , great food and very friendly shop , bar and catering staff. Pro shop is well stocked for both ladies and gents. The back nine is more challenging than the... More

Very tidy and well maintained 18 holes which is a credit to the greens staff. The course is set up a two distinct 9 holes with an undulating first 9 holes offering very pleasant playing conditions, especially for visitors then the second 9 becomes a little tighter with one or two more hilly areas. A real delight to play and... More

My perfect course. Not too long (though challenging in parts), v well kept, and in beautiful surrounds. Look out for the deals (we played for £25 each which represented great value).

We had a lovely evening at the golf club which is in a beautiful setting, with a very friendly bar manager and wonderful food. We arrived at the party late but the chef could not have been more accommodating. She cooked us two venison dishes and I lavish desert. All with a joyful smile! It was a great evening! Thanks... Stayed for a meal after playing golf. Not a great experience. Left feeling cheated on 2 counts. Food (chicken curry) was bland and portion size was poor with no accompaniments. The price was expensive for what it was. Menu price was not what we were asked to pay - as prices go up on Sunday (waiters quote) Golf course is... More

We are sorry that you didn't enjoy the curry. Thanks to your feedback we have taken steps to avoid the menu confusion in the future when the specials contradict the normal menu. More

Try and make your score in the first nine because the second nine will test the best of golfers. Very good greens all in all a must play course.

Very warm welcome by the pro. Front 9 holes are generally flat but interesting, but the back 9 is where the course comes alive. Starts with a great par 5 round the loch, before testing you up in the hilly part. With Bali d tee shots to narrow fairways. Well worth a visit.

Three of us played here as part of our Golfing Tour "The Road to Somewhere". We arrived the evening before, following a game at Ballater and met the professional and headed upstairs to the bar/restaurant, where we met Callum, the friendly helpful barman, who served us beers on the veranda, over looing the first hole. We stayed on and had... More

A little expensive at £40 for a game but as this was a weekend I guess this was to be expected. Course was quite busy and the round took longer than it should have but the course was in good condition despite the heavy rain the day before. Catering was very good. Home baking was available. We had bacon rolls... More
