The beach is gorgeous, super soft sand and clear beautiful sea. Lots of facilities, toilets nearby which are well maintained, food and drink available on the beach, taps and showers on the beach, pedalos, the list is endless. I love it!!

I'm not a great beach person but this beach is in perfect condition and superbly maintained. Easily the best UK beach I've ever been to. Dogs are allowed on it too, which is a huge plus point in my view too.

The day is worth a visit and if you have time you can watch in the afternoon a flight by the Red Devil's and in the evening there is a fire work display. The town get busy and the roads congested so I recommend using...More

You must come to the two day event and bring the family. Very clean beach even during High Season and masses of visitors for the Seafront Carnival. Torch light Parade 1st night. Parade 2nd night. Fun fir all.

Good sandy beach with good facilities and rides. Lovely very well looked after donkeys. Good cafes and eating places. Free deckchairs for pensioners.

Visited during august carnival. 2 days of great weather with lots to see and do. Perfectly safe shallow water for all ages and nice and clean. Just voted 2nd Best Beach in UK

Be sure to pop into Hamilton's for the best coffee and Italian cakes ever!! the lunch menu isn't bad either.

Love Weymouth beach, it's safe and very very clean perfect for all ages. Carnival week hold a special part in our hearts loved the red arrows this year, missed the rest of the air show.

We always park just up from train station, about 5 to 10 minutes walk and you are at the big clock. Right by the beach. X

We met a couple yesterday having a small BBQ on the beach, in fact we chatted to them and they ended up offering us a burger each! So yes I think as long as it's small and away from the crowded area it would seem it's ok... More
