Been visiting here for 50 years so slightly biased opinion. This is the perfect English Seaside location and it's Award Winning beach is perfect for anyone. Dog walking is restricted to an area between May / October but any other time it's all, open. Lovely clean beach and safe 🏖🏖🏖🏖

A lovely winters day to walk along the promenade but the railings & seats are looking a bit tired & could do with a paint. So many places 'closed' for the winter, but if you are visiting Weymouth then it's a must to walk along the front. We parked in Asda's car park where you get 3 free hours it's... More

Great place to go any time of year, cafes on beach, Punch and Judy, good local pubs, and nice hotels/ guesthouses.

I love this beach but it is looking a little weather beaten at the moment and could do with a good clean up

Weymouth is a great place for most types of visitor. Families can spend sunny days on the golden sands with kids playgrounds, donkey rides, funfairs and sand sculptures. Or stroll through the old town and harbour with fishing boats and good eating places. Or cross the harbour in a rowboat taxi and visit the castle. There are also the usual... More

Lovely walk from north harbour where we parked all the way up to the top. Dog friendly from end of october till good friday. If walking on the prom they ask that dogs are kept on lead but down on beach they are ok to go off lead. People we met were very friendly. Clean and tidy and thoroughly enjoyed... More

This beach is a lovely sandy beach and very accessible. The attractive pier building with its trendy restaurants adds a touch of class to the beach. Its shielded from the road making it safer for the children.

Kept nice and clean. Been going here for years and find all the Weymouth beaches good. Always something happening down there for families to take an interest in.

I visited Weymouth for the day with my husband while on holidays from Australia. What a treat to see a wide sandy beach in England 😀! I was entranced by the older style buildings along the esplanade/promenade. There is plenty to do for families, apart from the usual beach pastimes there are the sand sculptures and the donkey rides for... More
