We went to Bennetts Water Gardens whilst on holiday in Weymouth in August. We were very lucky to have beautiful weather for our visit and all the waterlilies were in bloom. Walking round the lakes was idyllic and picturesque. The resident ducks were full of...More

We visited the water gardens on a beautifully sunny day at the end of August. The water lilies were mostly flowering and the gardens looked stunning in the sun. The gardens are well cared for and well maintained. The whole place was just beautiful and...More

This hidden treasure that has the national collection of water lillies is a must to visit if you love these beautiful plants. A Monet garden in the UK. A little overpriced at £9.25 but vouchers around to reduce it a little.

This "attraction" is grossly overpriced. The gardens compare very poorly to those in public parks. There were a few water lillies in bloom but the whole place was poorly maintained.

I loved the ponds and surroundings. Loads of different lilies which are probably almost at their best (maybe another week or two). We saw various types of dragonflies, butterflies, a watersnake, ducks and moorhens with young. Lots of different paths to take (mostly grass and...More
