At the Portland Bill end there is a car park with toilets and a small visitor center with a coffee and snack area. There are some information displays and visual displays as well as a small shop area where you can buy things. Annoying to...More

The Chesil Beach is the natural phenomena that joins the mainland to Portland. Fascinating stuff, and a great walk too.

Paid £3 to park here and £3.25 for a small cornet. Walked over the bank of shingle to get to the sea but was met with very disapproving looks from fishermen who had monopolised the front with their rods and lines. Obviously to try and...More

Well worth a visit but you need to be fairly mobile to climb onto the ridge. Not easy walking. Ample car parking and a nice cafe with friendly staff. Dorset Wildlife Trust deserves support.

Lovely view along the bank which on a clear day can go as far Abbotsbury and beyond. Not an easy stroll along the shingle so not for the faint hearted.

The view from this beach is amazing , it's a great coastal walk and my dog loved it, car park is reasonable, restaurant on-site is over priced

I'm honestly not sure. Your best bet would be to check the website. It's a National Trust area so there will be a phone line.
