This small attraction is worth a visit. You get a guided tour of the small Tudor House with a very knowledgeable volunteer. Lots of fascinating information about how people lived around 3-400 years ago.

The house is interesting but the history given by the guides is so fascinating and they also seemed to enjoy telling the historic secrets. Good value for money.

The information given on the tour was well executed. We came away with lots of interesting explanations of modern sayings such as "burning the candle at both ends", "sleep tight" and the origins of putting money in the "till". Go visit.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your visit to Tudor House which although losing its prestigious position on the harbour edge in the 18thc can still today transport you back to a time mostly now forgotten..
