If you are in Bowness with limited time and you want to understand what the Lake District is all about this short walk is perfect. It starts up a road then heads across open countryside for 15 minutes or so. Walking boots of some sort...More

Its not a long way to climb and the paths are very good and clear. The view from the top is lovely and together with the peace after the bustle of Bowness, this is a very special place. Good news is there's a great pub...More

A lovely walk with fantastic views of the lake. Can be steep at times. Kids loved it. Plenty of space to rest at the top to enjoy the views.

We did this walk on a fine day in June. It's fairly steep in place but the views are fantastic. A great little walk

We wanted a short walk local to Bowness and this walk was just the trick. Great views over the lake and countryside when you reach the top. You could either go back down the way you came or take a circular route back to Bowness...More

I took this easy walk up Brant Fell from Bowness to enjoy the views over the lake. The walk was easy and you definitely get a great view for such a short walk. Well worth the short effort to escape the crowds in Bowness.

Brant Fell is a hill in the English Lake District, with amazing views, fresh-cool air. Just a liitle walk from the town and worth the effort. We had a great moment with God's masterpiece.

You couldn't get to the top of the fell with any kind of pram. It's very steep and I don't think some could manage it on foot.
