These cruises down the lake are really good. You get a good view of the lake and can be up top with the wind in your hair or down below where you can keep warm. You can get a nice warm drink and the length...More

We booked onto the Red tour from Bowness up to Ambleside and it was a pleasant journey. We spent a few hours looking around the town, about 1 mile from the boat jetty, them got a return boat. It was reasonably priced and punctual.

This is a great way to get around the area. You can hop on the boat bus and visit every. It's not too expensive at all and the boats run very frequently so you don't have a lot of waiting around.

The boat trip was really good. Saw lots and made the visit really special. We went on cold misty day so I imagine in the sunshine it would be more dramatic. Good value for money as we combined it with the motor museum so had...More

Spontaneous visit to Windermere whilst staying nearby. Decided against boat cruise as we wanted the freedom to explore the lake under own steam! Hired a small motor cruiser for an hour. Service was excellent - all staff very friendly as knowledgeable. Aaron was particularly helpful...More

Cruise was ok, it is what it is, but the ticket office staff could be a lot more informative & look a bit more interested in resolving your question or query instead of sitting there looking like they were day dreaming of being somewhere else.More
