There are different tours you can take so we did different sections on different days. You can be inside the ferry so you can have the experience of it rains too. There's some odd bits of information throughout the trip. It's a nice way to see the lake and save your legs for a bit. It's also good if you... More

Great trip across the Lake to Ambleside. Great staff, very informative and a very good way to travel to Ambleside. A walk to Ambleside, a coffee and a trip back to Bowness. £10.00 retune trip per adult. Well worth a trip 😜

If you're traveling with someone with a disability don't discount the Lake Cruises. They are well equipped for those with physical disabilities and welcoming to those with less visible problems. My non-verbal autistic brother can make some distracting noises but none of the staff batted an eyelid. all were friendly and helpful. They also offer a free ticket to carers... More

As good a day out as I have had. 3 ferry trips and a lovely 4 mile walk, 8 hours of entertainment for about £9 each. Brilliant.

Nice way to spend an hour of your visit. We chose the blue tour. Lasted roughly an hour and it took us round lake windermere. The skipper regularly filled us in with information about various things in and around the lake. Little shop also on board with food and refreshments available. At 8 pound per adult we thought it was... More

We bought a 24 hour pass for £20, which was extremely worth it. The boats cater for a view all around the lake and are run very efficiently.
