We have a huge fast flowing 500+ Metre indoor track, the biggest of its kind in Cumbria with top of the range Sodi Go Karts reaching a top speed of upto 40mph. We now have an extra fleet of Go-Karts which are even faster, 270cc Adult karts... let the fun begin We are a family run business and have been open 5 years now. We have a high tech 4 lane bowling alley in the same building, with a cafe, arcades and a fully licenced bar, Great fun for all the family. You can make a day of it and it is the closest Karting or Bowling to Coniston, Lake District and all of our Karts and Bowling Lanes are very well maintained... 5* Hygiene rating We are most likely the only company in the uk to host Go Karting and Bowling under the same roof, so what are you waiting for... you will never forget a day out if you come here. Fun for all ages and safety is No.1 we have a fantastic safety record. All employees are fully trained, polite// informative and experienced and will do their best to ensure you have a brilliant time

We went here for grand children to get carting experience and a certificate of competency, we enjoyed it enormously, but found the tea and coffee facilities to be basic and this detracted from the visit. Sadly we have heard its now closed, great shame.

We have been numerous times to the go cart track how ever we were failed to be told that it has gone bankrupt, they had still left there signs and advertisement posters up here and there but when we turned up it appeared the track had been de commissioned a while ago

In the space of about 3 weeks we emailed 12 times and phoned every other day we had no contact with them. Sometimes when we rang the phone was engaged so obviously we call back soon after to which the phone then rings for ages and again no one ever picks up... WHY DOES NO ONE ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!

We got there at 3:00 for our pre-booked session, but were told they were running 20 minutes late as the party before us (of around four people) were running late. Half an hour later we are then told that we may not be able to go out due to there being only one marshal available, more than one marshal was... More

Doesn't look great from the outside and not much better inside. We had a briefing before being aloud on track which was very rushed and was hard to make out what was said as the small child taking the briefing spoke very fast and in a strange accent. Overalls were cleanish and the helmets had no disposable liners so as... More

Staff is very rude and didn't like the hidden charges if you're Paying by card ! That's completely unfair because no one carries £100 cash and even if you're charging the customer extra for paying by card then let them know beforehand rather than surprising them. Not a good business practice. Carts are ok not that fast may be because... More

We live in the north east but our son has had an interest in driving from a very young age. All the karting/driving places in our area only cater for older children. I found Cumbria Karting on a website and we have been going there since our son was 6 years old. The procedure is that they have a briefing... More

Looking for something to do on a rainy day on holiday we came across Cumbria Karting. We booked for 2 twelve year olds and an 8 year old for 3pm over the phone. We got there an hour early to find the place, the postcode does not get you to the venue. When we arrived we were greeted by the... More

Brought my 12 and 9 year old daughter's along with a 12 year old friend for afternoon of karting. My 9 year old had never done it before. we did the 30 minute licence session then had a 10 minute race after. To be honest, I wasn't sure what they would get out of the licence 30 minutes, but all...
