Had a lovely walk around Walneys Nature Reserve. If you want to see the seals it's best to go when the tide is in. Staff are lovely and informative. Great for a stroll

Interesting drive to get there ... keep going ... maybe January between the rain showers is not the best time to visit but this was a really enjoyable & interesting walk ... not the best time of year for the wildlife but the seal CCTV...More

Walney is really good at this time of year best time to go is around High Tide Good variety of birds also seals they have a CCTV camera for the seals. There is a charge for non-members of Cumbria Wildlife Trust
